Midwest Restoration is opening a satellite site in Sturgeon Bay and seeking restoration technicians for its Door County operations.
Midwest provides best-in-class water, fire, mold, and biohazard remediation in the Fox Valley and Green Bay.
Field Technicians are responsible for the execution of projects at the job site to ensure they are completed in a quality fashion as defined by the schedules. Field Technicians take daily direction from Lead Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Understands and executes projects in accordance the predefined project scope and schedule
- Complies with all safety and PPE requirements and escalates/communicates safety concerns to the Lead Technician
- Ensure timely documentation of all job site activities in the proper systems and files
- Maintains and exhibits a high attention to detail to ensure a quality of work
- Drive company vehicle to job site locations. Load and unload equipment and supplies from the vehicle. May be assigned a vehicle when on rotational call
- Clear the work site by moving furniture and equipment, and restore the work site to the original configuration when the job is complete
- May conduct routine monitoring checks and measurements of equipment and environment at job sites
- Ensure tools, equipment and vehicles are clean and in good working order before going to job site
- May perform demolition tasks and cleanup of debris
- Retains a professional appearance and personality at all times
- Available to team members and customers as required
- Is available for the rotational on call schedule
- Other duties as defined by management
Core Skills

- Knowledge of software tools used Microsoft Office, Encircle etc.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
Qualifications
- Can work in a team environment
- Maintains a positive attitude
- Experience in water/fire restoration A PLUS
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- ICRC Certifications in Water Damage Mitigation, Advanced Structural Drying and Carpet Cleaning and Restoration is a plus
*Pay range is dependent on experience.
General Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm, available for weekend and after-hours work as needed ($50/hour incentive pay paid on weekends and after hours).
Housing allowance may be provided for Field Technicians relocating or commuting to Door County.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
