Job Type Part-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Assistant to provide administrative and data-related support to our marketing and sales teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management, marketing initiatives, and competitive analysis.Responsibilities : Assist with adding new products and updating existing products in the inventory management system. Track discontinued products and ensure they are updated accordingly in the system.Organize and maintain product-related data to ensure accuracy and consistency.Collaborate with the team to implement and monitor promotional offers within the inventory system, ensuring they are accurately reflected.Support the marketing team in managing, updating, and executing promotional campaigns across digital and physical platforms.Conduct pricing comparisons to ensure our products remain competitive in the market.Assist in organizing and executing brand and marketing initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.Maintain schedule for marketing initiatives, including project management and tracking assignments.Conduct market research to analyze competitor activity and identify new potential customer segments.Develop tools and methods for collecting customer data, such as surveys, opinion polls, and questionnaires. Hours : Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 5pmRequirementsQualifications / Skills : Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Basic understanding of marketing principles, product management, and sales strategies.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines while handling competing priorities.Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with an ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and address challenges proactively.Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and tools.Education and Experience Requirements : High School diploma or GED equivalent required.1-3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related field, or equivalent academic background.Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with inventory management software or CRM systems is an asset.Familiarity with market research techniques and customer data collection tools is a plus.
