Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities by performing various tasks related to mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Work with hydraulics and high voltage systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform welding tasks as required for equipment repairs or modifications.
• Utilize logic controllers and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with field service teams to provide on-site support for equipment installations and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role within an industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery.
• Familiarity with HVAC/R systems is a plus.
• Proficient in using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience working with hydraulics, logic controllers, and CMMS software is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience:

• Welding: 6 years (Required)
• Millwright: 2 years (Required)
• Industrial maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 6 years (Preferred)
