Maintenance Technician
A rapidly growing manufacturer of architectural metal products based in Rogers, MN, is seeking a dedicated Plant and Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a preventative maintenance program for all fabrication equipment and facilities.
- Perform safety-related repairs on facilities and equipment.
- Maintain the upkeep of the facilities and grounds, including snow removal.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, update, and repair fabrication equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices, including lockout/tag-out and confined space regulations.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and the removal of old equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty hand/power tools as needed.
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, notifying appropriate personnel and following safety protocols.
- Perform minor repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic shop practices and safe working habits.
- Understanding of basic electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
