Location : Vadnais Heights, MN
1st shift
Pay range : $26-$36 an hour DOQ

Midwest Staffing Group is seeking a skilled Mold Maker II to join our team. This role involves building, repairing, and modifying plastic injection molds and fixtures of a complex and precise nature with minimal supervision. If you have a passion for precision toolmaking and a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Assemble molds of any complexity with minimal supervision.
- Work with Tooling Engineers, CNC machinists, and EDM machinists to ensure project success.
- Plan and schedule minor jobs to meet delivery deadlines.
- Troubleshoot mold issues and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Perform inspection procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Wire runner-less molds and assemble molds with hydraulic cylinders.
- Operate all necessary equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with external vendors and prepare prints or sketches as needed.
- Utilize Mastercam software to operate a computer for design viewing and print creation.
- Fit parting lines and shutoffs for Injection and LSR molds.
- Manage minor mold repairs and other assigned tasks.
