As a part of the maintenance department, team electricians will often be involved with tasks outside of the electrical field. A great opportunity for the individual seeking to expand their skill set. Training will be provided when necessary.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 4 years experience in industrial electricity.
- Experience with automation and controls a must. This includes understanding the operation of PLC's, sensors and transmitters, starters and drives, and an ability to troubleshoot those systems with little guidance.
- Must have the ability to design and calculate power supplies for new equipment installations.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks at once while staying organized
- Candidates must live within 30 miles of Jackson, MO or be willing to relocate within 120 days.
Job responsibilities include installation and troubleshooting of:
- AC motors from 1 to 100hp
- Fully automated process control systems utilizing Allen Bradley plc's and various field controls
- Facility power distribution including planning and installing power supply for new equipment and building expansions
