The Patron Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies promoting the hoopla platform, ultimately driving patron (aka. consumer) brand awareness, engagement and advocacy. This role involves managing marketing campaigns, analyzing patron behavior, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall patron experience. The Patron Marketing Manager will lead patron engagement efforts, ensuring the hoopla platform exceeds the needs of its diverse patron audience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the hoopla platform to patrons.
- Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns across a variety of digital and direct marketing channels (e.g. social media, paid media, blog, email, app, onsite, catalog, print, etc.).
- Devise methods to clearly and effectively convey to patrons the hoopla value proposition messaging [VPMs].
- Assist in the hoopla user experience optimization efforts across the various patron-facing platforms (www, mobile, app, set top), improving the experience and driving engagement.
- Develop and manage content for use in digital and direct marketing efforts (i.e. publications, social media posts, emails, blog articles, paid media, newsletters, website content, tradeshows, etc.).
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
- Manage the patron marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize marketing impact.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Analytics and Customer Service teams to align marketing efforts with key business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, leveraging data to optimize strategies and improve ROI.
- Conduct market research and patron feedback to understand patron needs, preferences, and trends, using those insights to inform marketing strategies and enhance the patron experience.
- Partner with UX team to map patron journeys to determine how and when to reach patrons in ways that drive adoption and advocacy.
- Plan and execute marketing events and promotions to engage patrons and drive brand loyalty.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging marketing technologies to keep the company’s marketing efforts innovative, compelling and effective.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Proficiency in marketing software and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM tools, Monday, JIRA, Braze, Monetate).
- Experience in multi-channel marketing, product management, brand management, or Consumer marketing.
- Ability to persuade, adapt and build credibility across organizations, internally and externally across all levels to influence decision making and patron needs.
- Self-starter mentality.
- Pro-active problem solver, with the ability to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to interpret quantitative data and identify trends.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA a plus.
- 6 years’ experience in consumer and brand marketing, with a strong understanding of digital marketing tools, channels and techniques.
- Library marketing experience a plus.
- International marketing experience a plus.
- Marketing certifications a plus (e.g., Digital Marketing, Google, PMP)
