Position Summary :
The Sr. Social Media Manager is responsible for managing a variety of social media strategies that promote the hoopla platform, driving brand awareness, engagement and advocacy. This role manages a team responsible for developing and executing social media campaigns, analyzing audience behavior, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to convey and elevate the hoopla brand and its key value propositions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across both domestic and international markets.
- Manage and oversee all social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and publishing on platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Redditt, YouTube, Threads, and others.
- Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns, inclusive of budget management, targeting, and performance analysis activities.
- Conceptualize, write and create compelling social media content that drives engagement for both libraries and library patrons.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Sales, PR, and Customer Service, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Strategically assess and implement engagement protocols for our online community, ensuring prompt and professional responses to comments, messages and reviews.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance our social media presence.
