ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE
Midwest Technical Institute, an established career college with campuses throughout the Midwest and Mississippi Delta region, is seeking a full-time Admissions Representative for our Springfield, Missouri Campus.
GOAL: To provide the potential student with an understanding of the MTI/DTC programs, deliver a tour of the campus and facilitate the enrollment process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Enable the appointment process by meeting with potential students to determine program interest and career goals.
· Deliver a tour of the campus during the initial visit to the campus demonstrating the resources available, key areas of support with a focus on the lab, shop, or salon where the hands on training would be delivered.
· Facilitate the potential student meeting with Financial Aid department or students accounts.
· Adhere to approved policies and procedures in the conduct of all work related activities.
· Administer admissions assessment and acquire the supporting documents for admissions criteria for acceptance into the selected program.
· Follow up with student’s during the enrollment process which includes outbound calls, fielding inbound calls and scheduling return campus visits.
· Provide an engaged, informative, and positive student experience on behalf of MTI/DTC.
· Serves as liaison between student and the faculty and other support services at the campus.
· The Admissions Representative is also responsible for providing information to the Director of Admissions and School Director, relating to current trends, potential admissions pitfalls and other pertinent information.
· Must stay informed about the departmental activities and interest: enrollment projections and upcoming start dates.
· This position requires an individual who resolves problems and maintains positive experiences for inquiries.
· Must adhere to all compliance and federal regulations along with the company dress code policy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma.
· Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
· Have a professional attitude and manner that reflects the high standards of MTI/DTC and a desire to shape futures.
· Strong customer service skills.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively over the phone.
· Ability to communicate and interact effectively with students, parents, staff, and faculty.
· Have strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to multi-task and succeed with strict guidelines.
