We are currently seeking a full-time, Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist at our corporate headquarters in Des Moines.

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving brand awareness and engagement across the key areas: graphic design, social media management and print coordination. This role requires close collaboration with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies and objectives. The position involves designing impactful marketing materials, managing engaging social media content and coordinating print and distribution processes to ensure consistent brand representation across all channels.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Graphic Design

o Design a wide range of marketing materials, including product catalogs, brochures, flyers, banners, digital ads, and promotional collateral using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

o Ensures brand consistency and visual impact across all print and digital materials, adhering to established brand guidelines and maintaining a cohesive brand identity.

o Collaborates with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative designs that align with campaign objectives and target audience preferences.

o Stays updated on design trends and incorporate innovative techniques to enhance the visual appeal of marketing materials.

Social Media Management

o Develops, schedules and publishes engaging social media content across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (fka Twitter), etc.) using social medial management tools like SocialBee, Hootsuite or Buffer.

o Monitors social media analytics to track performance, identify trends and refine strategies to improve engagement, reach and follower growth.

o Collaborates with sales and marketing teams to align social media messaging with broader campaigns, promotions and product launches.

o Engages with the online community, responding to comments, messages and inquiries promptly to foster a positive brand image.

Print & Distribution Coordination

o Manages the end-to-end process of print production, including sourcing and liaising with vendors, obtaining quotes, overseeing quality control, and ensuring timely delivery of printed materials.

o Coordinates the distribution of marketing materials to various locations, ensuring they reach the intended recipients efficiently and within deadlines.

o Maintains and organizes inventory of print collateral and track usage to ensure the availability of materials for upcoming campaigns and events.

o Conduct quality checks on all printed materials to ensure they meet brand standards and specifications.

· Other Duties as assigned

o Assists with other marketing-related tasks and projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the overall marketing team.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design work.

· Experience in print production and distribution logistics, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Familiarity with the heavy-duty/automotive industry is preferred, enabling better alignment with target market needs and preferences.

· Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts, engage with customers and support marketing strategies effectively.

· Strong focus on customer satisfaction, building long-term relationships, and providing value-added support to the team.

Ability to edit videos created in house for training and marketing purposes.

· Proven negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective printing and distribution processes.

· Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and remain agile in response to shifting marketing priorities.

· Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing and other departments to achieve shared goals.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field.

· A minimum of two years experience in graphic design, social media management and print coordination, preferably within a marketing or agency environment.
