JOB PURPOSE
Spurgeon College exists to train and equip students to be experts in souls and Scripture for the Kingdom. Fusion equips young believers for a lifetime by providing a directional process from adolescence to biblical adulthood. The Fusion Mobilization Coordinator contributes to this mission by leading in the mobilization efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Counseling prospective students

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
- Professional, shared office setting
- There are a handful of training and recruiting events that will require around-the-clock supervision and participation.
- Some overnight travel may be required
- This role is highly relational due to the supervision of advocates and interns.
- Phone calls, emails, texts, or personal meetings outside business hours to provide support to these young leaders.
- A flexible spirit toward these abnormal working hours is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Include, but not limited to:
- Christian with high integrity, actively pursuing a relationship with God
- Able to respond quickly, thoroughly, and winsomely to prospective students.
- Have a clear understanding of why Fusion exists and how we do our mission.
- Able to practice effective delegation.
- Maintain a “whatever it takes” attitude in the face of obstacles.
- Marshal all the resources available toward the goal.
- Be passionate about and energized by planning and executing events.
- Four year college degree preferred; related to missions preferred
- Seminary education preferred; missions-related courses preferred
- Significant experiences in coordinating international travel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Positive attitude with a desire and willingness to learn
- Able to multi-task, analyze workload, and prioritize as necessary for the benefit of the department
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to pass background screening, including driving record
- Eligible to work in the United States
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently required to sit or stand for periods of time at desk or computer station, reviewing applications, answering emails and phone.
- Frequently required to walk distances while conducting campus tours, hosting a Fusion event, etc.
- Occasionally required to with hands and arms.
- Able lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Optional – opportunity to participate in more strenuous physical activity within the larger Fusion framework, including but not limited to Fusion’s training events or deployment visits.
