Job Overview
Highland Crest is in the “hub” of Green Bay’s mission field just one block from the Green Bay Packer Stadium (Lambeau Field)! We are seeking a Full-time Minister of Music that is willing to also serve in an Associate Pastor role, with responsibilities within his gifting. He should be passionate about theologically rich, God-centered songs (old and new) and be able to skillfully lead them to our congregation. Highland Crest is a multi- generational church that loves to sing! We offer a blended style of worship.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the praise team / choir – contemporary music and traditional hymns.
- Coordinate all music with the overall church calendar through recruiting workers, scheduling rehearsals, and selection of music and materials.
- Present a worship flow plan for upcoming services and work through the planning of each service with other ministerial staff.
- Recruit and develop worship team musicians and choir members.
- Plan all services of the church in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.
- Work with Lead Pastor to determine annual budget needs for the music program.
- Assist the Lead Pastor in the planning and execution of church services, ministries and events as needed.
- Assist in pastoral care as needed.
- Develop preaching skills by filling the pulpit several times per year or as needed and depending on giftedness.
- Support the Lead Pastor in planning and implementing the church’s vision and ministry objectives.
