Position: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Lakeland, FL (Onsite Position)
Salary: $18 to $23 per hour

Midwestern Construction is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager with landscape expertise to join our growing team in Lakeland, FL. The ideal candidate will have , including scheduling, inspections, and technical documentation for landscaping and construction. Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule new contracts to ensure timely project delivery.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers.
- Manage all aspects of landscape construction projects from start to finish.
- Inspect and review landscape design layouts and irrigation plans.
- Demonstrate expertise in site design and provide technical documentation.
- Enforce safety protocols and provide training to staff as necessary.
- Engage in business development activities and build strong client relationships.
- Mentor and train less-experienced staff to foster a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to manage landscaping projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Hands-on experience with herbicide application and safety standards.
- In-depth knowledge of various plant types, care, and maintenance techniques.
- Strong understanding of landscape design principles and sustainable practices.
- Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to lead teams effectively and manage project resources.
