This position is an intermediate-level Data Analytics & Business Intelligence role which provides support for departments and business units throughout the Bank; will lead medium sized initiatives to gather, analyze, and compile data for reporting trends, identification of business patterns, and tracking key performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- Leads medium sized projects collaboratively with Business Intelligence “BI” team members and stakeholders on the identification, development, and ongoing refinement of periodic reports.
- Supports lines of business and functions throughout the bank with data collection and distribution needs by working with internal and external partners as needed.
- Applies appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and information by making use of BI reporting tools (e.g. SQL Server, Power BI, Excel, etc.)
- Presents ideas innovatively and proactively on how to better leverage data to key stakeholders.
- Leads issue tracking and resolving of day-to-day data and reporting issues.
- Assists in the monitoring, defining, and leading of data quality initiatives.
- Shares best practices and knowledge through written documentation, presentations, and informal meetings with other team members and departments.
- Remains current on new developments in BI by engaging in educational opportunities within the field.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of post high school education and related work experience.
- In addition to education in the field of business or related field, 2-5 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence required.
- Banking or financial experience is preferred.
