As a Portfolio Manager in Private Wealth, this position will work closely with the Portfolio Management team to manage investment portfolios of managed accounts within the department and to recommend, direct and oversee investment activity. This position will also work with the Private Wealth team to sell new Private Wealth households and service existing client relationships. The Portfolio Manager carries out various support duties using a strong understanding of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other traditional financial services. Assists in investment analysis, supporting the creation of specific investment strategies as well as monitoring and managing those strategies. Responsible for maintaining structure and procedures for efficient promotion, delivery and servicing of investments.
Responsibilities
- Manages investment portfolios of Private Wealth clients that are appropriately suited for individual account objectives.
- Coordinate the trading and day-to-day management of client portfolios.
- Actively supports sales and service process of Private Wealth by attending sales meetings, assisting in prospecting, and servicing existing client relationships.
- Works closely with other portfolio managers to align investment strategies, analyze market data and research, discuss investment philosophy, create new investment strategies, collaborate on reporting, etc.
- Assists in managing monthly investment activity reports and reviews with the Trust and Investment Committees.
- Manages and recommends changes to holdings in specific investment model strategies.
- Actively participates in tactical asset allocation and manager search and selection decisions on behalf of Private Wealth.
- Analyzes individual account portfolios and conducts special research at the request of clients and Private Wealth Relationship Managers.
- Active listening and communication skills to effectively communicate investment decisions to internal partners and external clients/prospects.
- Responsible for Portfolio Manager specialty as assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of post high school education and related work experience.
- 10 years of investment management experience preferred.
- A thorough knowledge of the investment field including the technical aspects of trading and analyses of securities highly preferred, as well as a solid understanding of and experience in dealing with capital markets and working with high-net worth clients.
