The Technical Product Owner - Digital Solutions leads the Digital Solutions team and serves as the primary digital banking and digital account opening product owner. The Technical Product Owner - Digital Solutions leads the Digital Solutions team and serves as the primary digital banking and digital account opening product owner. Members of the Digital Solutions team serve as the technical subject matter experts for all digital banking applications within the bank while performing critical operational tasks that ensure the integrity, availability, and ease of use.
- Ensure internal support SLA are met and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
- Serve as the primary SME for all digital banking applications within the bank.
- Actively identify and work with internal and external partners to implement enhancements that improve the customer and employee experience.
- Monitor release documentation provided by third-party vendors and coordinate technical and operational preparedness.
- Track functionality defects and work diligently with internal team members and vendors to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
- Proactivity identify and implement cost savings and efficiency gains opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and research digital banking issues escalated from other business units.
- Gather appropriate documentation and escalate to third-party vendor support as necessary.
- Ensure the delivery of high quality and responsive support according to established SLAs for the Digital Solutions team.
- Coordinate comprehensive testing of digital banking system releases in the certification/test environments.
- Document potential system issues and work with vendor and internal business units to resolve.
- Review user audit logs, validate administrative user activity, and perform periodic system access reviews.
- Assist in administrating systems as needed while validating appropriate levels of control.
- Lead and assist in digital banking implementations and conversion efforts as assigned. Work with other business lines for product and enhancement rollouts to ensure employee and customer readiness.
- Conduct technical discovery related to new integrations and other enhancements in digital channels.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic electronic banking and payment reports.
- Collect and combine data from various systems for centralized reporting and monitor trends.
- Coordinate organizational responses and communications related to digital banking services outages and other incidents.
- Lead and mentor the Digital Solutions team.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of post high school education and related work experience.
- Along with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, a minimum of 3 years of experience in banking operations, digital banking product management, technical support, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of core and digital banking systems, electronic payments, support delivery methodologies, API integration concepts, and other general product management best practices.
