Job Description:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team, focusing on generating new business opportunities through strategic outreach and cold calling. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, nurturing relationships with potential clients, and scheduling appointments for our clients sales executives. This role requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of B2B sales processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound cold calls to prospects and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
- Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Articulate our value proposition and tailor messaging to resonate with potential clients.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities through effective lead management.
- Collaborate closely with sales executives to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Track and report on sales activities and outcomes using CRM software.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, in a cold calling or outbound sales role is essential.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects and build rapport over the phone.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
