What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saturday Cashier position at Miedema Asset Management?
Summary:
To be the first point of access to all Repocast, Orbitbid, and Rangerbid customers. To be friendly, fast and patient in taking all payment forms from customers. To be clear and respectful when informing customers about Repocast policies. To kindly direct customers in next step in pick up process. This position is for Saturdays 8:30 am-12:30 pm. Please only apply if you can work Saturdays.

Essential Job Functions
- Know how online bidding works for Repocast.com, Orbitbid.com, and Rangerbid.com, and the functionality of the auction websites
- Answer phones
- File
- Count down drawer accurately at beginning and end of shift
- Use all electronic devices in place at cashier station appropriately and effectively
- Fill out all required forms while cashiering
- Know our shipping and refund processes
- Take payment from customers who purchased won auction items
Typical Duties
- Take correct amount of payment from customer, using appropriate devices and procedures
- Count down drawer daily and balance with paid invoices using the cashier balance sheet
- Calculate shipping and shipping quotes on necessary invoices
- Complete/attach/file required forms (i.e. tax exemption, IRS 8300, etc.)
- Help answer phones and customer questions
- Keep cash drawer organized and keep invoices in alphabetical order
- File invoices in alphabetical order by auction date
- Other duties as requested by manager
