Anticipated Welding Instructor
Location: Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology
The Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology in Lewistown, PA is seeking to fill an Anticipated Welding Instructor position, working with high school students.
Qualifications
· At least 4 years of recent full-time wage-earning work experience as a welder
· Current AWS Welder Certification preferred
· Current AWS Certified Welding Educator Certification preferred or have the ability to obtain certification within 1 year of hire
· Certified Welding Inspector preferred
· Certified Robotic Arc Welding certification preferred
This is a permanent full-time position working 186 days per year. The daily schedule is 7:32am – 3:02pm. Successful applicant must be willing to obtain the appropriate certification by completing the requirements of the PDE Teacher Preparation Program while employed.
