Order Picker / Delivery Driver

Mighty Distributing System of America (MDSA), a franchisor of sales and services in aftermarket auto parts, is looking for an enthusiastic associate to join our team at our national distribution center – Mighty Product Center (MPC), in Jackson, Tennessee. MPC supports 100 U.S. distributors in 45 states, five international master distributors, and local professional installers.

General Responsibilities/Job Summary

This dual role will work with the Sales Department as an order Order Picker and Delivery Driver. Each day will be different! This individual must be able to pick and process orders accurately and timely. Additionally, drive to customers or deliver and stock products correctly. Perform other duties in servicing production as required to maintain efficient operations. This full-time, 1^st shirt associate will work in our climate-controlled Distribution Center. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for pulling, processing, and packing orders with accuracy and speed.
• Accurately scan products out of location using an RF scanner
• Check product being picked against sales order to avoid errors
• Deliver product and put away stock
• Safely drive and operate company vehicles.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
• Load and unload packages to be delivered
• Put away products in appropriate areas in a timely manner.
• Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs through your shift

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a van driver or courier
• Picking orders with RF scanner
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Customer service skills
• Familiarity with warehouse operations
• Ability to handle moving tasks
• Experience with forklift and pallet jack operations
• Skilled in loading and unloading goods
• Proficient in route driving and navigation
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly, performing such activities as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, feeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping.

• 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
