Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage with community members and promote our initiatives.
- Effectively communicate key messages and information to residents.
- Build rapport with potential supporters and answer any questions they may have.
- Collect data on community opinions and feedback through surveys or conversations.
- Assist in organizing fundraising events and campaigns.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts.
- Negotiate support and encourage participation in our programs.
- Supervise and mentor new canvassers as needed.
- Utilize bilingual skills to reach a broader audience when applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in canvassing, sales, fundraising, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate messages clearly.
- Experience in marketing is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
