Social Media Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our audience across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that align with our brand's goals, while also supporting local community engagement activities to build brand awareness.

Social Media

• Develop and execute engaging social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Utilize tools to schedule posts and monitor social media engagement.
• Collaborate with contractors and the corporate marketing team to create visually appealing graphics.
• Conduct research on current trends in social media to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
• Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and reach.
• Assist in managing public relations efforts through effective communication on social media channels.
• Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.

Event Planning and Partnerships

• Support social events, including trade shows, to enhance brand visibility. Be prepared to be onsite to help present and deliver when these networking opportunities arise.
• Cultivate partnerships with other businesses for joint visibility opportunities, such as local services (Heroes such as military affiliated groups, law enforcement, fire fighters, teachers, etc) and pet related (pet stores, shelters, vets, etc).
• Facilitate collaborative initiatives to expand our reach in the community.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong skills in photography and graphic design; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web content optimization techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
• A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Experience in public relations is a nice-to-have but not required.
• A passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to social media.

What To Expect

Although we believe in aligning people to specific goals in the company to make sure we are efficient, we are growing rapidly and you can expect to wear several different hats. You’ll work with a team of sales professionals that serve leads from digital sources or do door-to-door work to help build business. We are looking to expand over the next 5 years into multiple services and geographies all over Alabama. We believe in family support and work-life balance, but we also are a small startup and need everybody to pitch in to help us all achieve our goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,746.01 - $45,070.46 per year
