Job Description:
THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT POSITION. TYPICALLY, 6PM TO 3AM. TRAINING PROVIDED

Mighty Fine Donuts is seeking a Lead Baker/Donut Maker to join our team. We are willing to train the right person. As a Donut Maker, you will be responsible for crafting and preparing a wide variety of delicious, fresh donuts that will leave our customers craving for more. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our donut shop and help maintain our reputation of Award-Winning donuts.

Responsibilities:
Specialize in mixing dough, rolling, shaping and cutting donuts using specialized equipment.
Prepare and cook a variety of donuts according to recipes and quality standards.
Be familiar with key baking ingredients and functions of each
Monitor, proof and adjust cooking temperatures and times to ensure consistent quality.
Measure ingredients using scales or other devices provided
Adhere to standards established by management to reduce waste
Review and work production schedule to determine variety and quantity of donuts to make
Bake to present donuts in an appealing and attractive manner as directed.
Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness.
Experiment with new flavors, fillings, and glazes to create unique donut offerings.
Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Ability to lead and supervise production team during donut making process.
Overseeing that nightly donut production run is filled

Requirements:

Creativity and passion for ensuring taste and donut designs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift heavy ingredients or equipment when necessary.
Flexibility to work early LATE NIGHTS, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Ability to work in humid or hot environment.
Follow food handling and safety regulations when preparing and handling products
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
Clean fryers and other equipment as needed
Superior attendance and punctuality
Perform other related work as required

Job Type:
Full-time, Part-Time

Qualifications:
Dough handling experience handling dough (minimum 2 years)
21 Years or older
Dependable transportation
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to work in all types of weather (when driving)
Strong Leadership & Math Skills

Restaurant type:

Schedule:
6:00 PM – Until Done (typically 6-8 hours a night), Monday thru Sunday
Must be available for weekends and some holidays
