Porter/Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various maintenance tasks while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the facility, including common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
• Assist with minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stocked.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff or management in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety standards by following established protocols and guidelines.
• Support event setups and breakdowns as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and visitors.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
• A valid driver's license may be required for certain tasks.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Ability to Commute:

• Tampa, FL 33610 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Tampa, FL 33610: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
