Job Overview
We are seeking self motivated, reliable , experienced delivery drivers to join our team. We offer flexible scheduling you choose your days off. Available to start immediately! Amazon delivery experience highly favored!
This is a 1099 contractor position so you are responsible for your own fuel and vehicle related expenses. Compensation is $1.80 per stop with the potential to deliver 70-100 packages depending upon daily volume. The route is located in the San Diego/Escondido /Oceanside Area. Applicants must have a drivers license, reliable vehicle and valid car insurance in order to begin position. Please note while this is not a hard job it is a very important one please only apply if you are able to finish route in its entirety everyday. As an Independent contractor you are in charge of how much money you make. Pay is weekly on Wed.
Duties
- Pick up and scan packages at designated location
- Safely and timely deliver package to homes, apartments and businesses
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries at all times
- Be able to follow instructions and company delivery policies effectively
- Complete delivery route in its entirety everyday in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy of package to the customers address
- Operate vehicle in safe manner
Requirements
- Proven experience in route driving or commercial driving preferred.
- Must be able to follow directions
- Must finish route in its entirety everyday
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license .
- Reliable Vehicle
