Migis Lodge on Sebago Lake is seeking a Bar Server for our seasonal resort. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry and develop your skills as a bartender. The ideal candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, and able to provide exceptional guest service.
We offer part-time and full-time seasonal employment for this role, with a minimum of 20 hours per week required. The compensation package includes $15-$16 per hour, depending on experience, plus an additional 7% incentive payment of total wages. This is not a tipped position. Additionally, you will receive discounted stays and food & beverage at affiliated properties.
The bar server will work closely with the Food & Beverage Team to ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a neat and professional appearance
- Stocking, replenishing, cleaning, and maintaining the bar area
- Greeting guests warmly and efficiently serving beverages
- Understanding State of Maine regulatory responsibilities regarding service of alcoholic beverages
To be successful in this role, you must be eligible to work in the United States of America, at least 18 years of age, and able to communicate in English both orally and written. You should also possess excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills. Previous experience as a bar server or in a similar role is not required, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.
