What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Project Coordinator position at Miguel's Support Center?

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Field Training Manager, the Training Project Coordinator will lead the development and organization of Gold Standard training to be presented to all restaurants. Will manage the timeline and project plan to assure training expectations are met.


Position Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Gold Standard training sessions and implement practices.
  • Implement Gold Standard training at each Miguel’s JR.
  • Assist with Training administration needs.
  • Purchase supplies needed for training sessions.
  • Track commute mileage.
  • Work overtime as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities Project Management

  • Develop and oversee a detailed project plan with timelines, milestones, and deliverables for the Gold Standard implementation.
  • Manage resources, support budgets, and schedules to ensure efficient execution of the project.
  • Monitor progress, track performance, and address roadblocks.
Leadership & Direction

  • Act as the primary point of contact and work with direct leader of the training team, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Motivate and guide Team Members to deliver engaging and effective sessions.

  • Create a positive culture that promotes collaboration and accountability.
Training Oversight

  • Set clear training goals aligned with Gold Standard Restaurant practices.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to Gold Standard principles across all training sessions.
  • Communication
  • Work with direct leader, restaurant staff, and others to align expectations and project goals.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to direct leader regularly.
  • Documentation
  • Maintain organized documentation of training materials, meeting notes, and project records.
Evaluation & Feedback

  • Solicit feedback from Team Members to enhance future projects.
  • Celebrate successes and recognize team contributions post Gold Standard certification.
Commuting

  • Commute from the Miguel’s Support Center to restaurants as needed.
  • Work out of the Miguel’s Support Center at a minimum of 2x a week.

 

Role Qualifications:

  • Effective communication & presentation skills
  • Some experience in training desired
  • Proficient computer skills to include MS Office: (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
