Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS Job Details RTs work in all areas of the hospital, general floors, ER, Step Down, Critical Care, and Special Care Nursery. They are responsible for documenting non-therapy contact time in the EMR. RTs draw ABGs and capture ECGs on many units. They are a part of the Rapid Response and Code teams and travel with intubated patients. They must be able to interact with patients, family members, and staff as well as have good judgment and the ability to make quick decisions. Job Requirements Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals. Must be AHA certified.
