Accounts Receivable Specialist
Responsible for the daily processes associated with the billing and receipts from clients, ensuring the accuracy of the entire process and adherence to policies and procedures as they pertain to the Accounts Receivable functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure proper billing of products and services
- Handles client correspondence via phone or email
- Investigates and resolves problems associated with billing and receipts from clients
- Assists with monthly reconciliations and monthly closings
- Identify errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards
- Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries
- Communicates resolution of discrepancies to appropriate person
- Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of proven accounting experience
- High School diploma or equivalent with preference for Associate Degree
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in Microsoft Office, databases, and accounting software
- Preference for experience with NetSuite
- Practical experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Aptitude for numbers
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Open to change and willing to learn new skills
