Automotive Technician
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a passenger vehicles, light duty trucks and vans. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, an eye for detail, and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues quickly and efficiently. Work schedule Monday-Friday (no weekends!) 7:30pm-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks to ensure vehicle in optimal condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Maintain and update accurate records of services performed.
- Collaborate with Service Advisor, Manager and other Technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide recommendations to improve vehicle or equipment performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar mechanical role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with co-workers and customers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preference for Associate of Science in Automotive Technology
- Valid Driver License and good driving record.
