Job Summary

The Diesel Technician will work with various types of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, utilizing hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, brake repairs, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical problems in diesel vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as fuel injectors, exhaust systems, and electrical systems.
- Weld components as needed for structural repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle or piece of equipment.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks when necessary, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Familiarity with farm machinery and industrial equipment is a plus.
