Experienced Auto Body Technician

Mike Johnson's Collision Center is a dealer-based collision center located in Hickory, NC. We have been a Toyota certified facility since we opened our doors although we do work on all vehicle makes and models.

We are growing and looking to hire an experience, Master Level Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. Ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be punctual. Our world class collision center comes tooled up with everything needed to get the tasks done.We are looking for someone to ensure vehicles are safely repaired to OEM Standards. REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience as an Auto Body Technician
• Must currently have a valid Driver’s License
• Must be located in the United States
• High School or Equivalent (Preferred)
• Willing to lead and mentor less experienced technicians

ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Preferred to have body and structural experiece
• ICAR and other certifications are preferred
• Experience working on Car-O-Liner machine is preferred
• Ability to lift object up 25 pounds on a consistent basis
• Ability to use electronic measuring system and perform pulls as needed
• Work in a team-environment to provide support and interact with team members and managers as needed
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks that are ever changing in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read instructions to ensure all repairs are completed per the Manufacturer’s guidelines
• Punctual and flexible
• Willingness to always learn and improve

Expected hours: 40 per week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
