Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive growth within the designated territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in insurance sales and demonstrate expertise in lead generation, territory management, and business to business sales. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze market trends and implement effective sales strategies to maximize performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and increase market share within the district.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance on cold calling techniques and territory management.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and enhance existing relationships.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports for performance analysis.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to improve skills in inside sales, retail sales, and territory sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that align with market demands.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in insurance sales or related fields with a strong understanding of lead generation techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in managing territory sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM software for tracking customer interactions and managing leads.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on market analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities that inspire others.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
