What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Sales Consultant position at Mike Maroone Automotive?

Your Day-to-Day:
- Assists customers and technicians with selecting and ordering proper parts.
- Completes sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system.
- Notifies Parts Manager when order points have been reached.
- Receives and stocks items and ensures they are stocked in the correct location.
- Receives returned items and inspects them for re-stocking or return to supplier.
- Answers Parts Departments phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Maintains Parts Departments in a clean, organized manner.
- Stays abreast of new technical information and technology by attending required/recommended manufacturer training.

- Must have at least one-year prior auto dealership parts experience, GM background a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Desire to provide a high level of customer service.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
