Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in vehicle maintenance and customer service will ensure that clients receive the highest level of care and support. You will be responsible for assessing customer needs, providing accurate estimates, and facilitating communication between customers and service technicians.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services offered, including oil changes, vehicle maintenance, and diesel engine repair.
- Prepare accurate service estimates and transmit them to customers in a clear manner.
- Manage service writing tasks efficiently to ensure timely processing of work orders.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure all customer concerns are addressed and resolved.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and service history.
- Follow up with customers regarding their service experience to ensure satisfaction.
- Suspend or escalate issues as necessary to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with auto service management practices and auto estimating processes.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to customers clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
