Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective vehicle maintenance and repair.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous training.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and service manuals for vehicle repairs.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive repair practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to transmit technical information clearly to customers and team members.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are preferred but not essential.
