Production Administrator

Mike’s Custom Painting, a Division of Patrick Industries located in Bremen, Indiana, is one of the area’s leading paint shops, specializing in custom RV, trailer, and motorhome paint jobs and is seeking an Experienced Production Administrator for their facility.

The Production Administrator will be responsible for the general administrative functions of production throughout the plant. The Production Administrator will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure accurate scheduling, ordering, and logistics throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure accurate scheduling of parts.

· Distribute production schedules to departments daily to ensure accurate production flow.

· Responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately counting parts on the manufacturing floor to ensure proper inventory levels and maintain smooth production operations.

· Provide pickup or delivery paperwork as needed.

· Coordinate with paint mixers to ensure paint required for production is mixed and the proper amount has been created.

· Update production spreadsheets to accurately reflect parts picked up and delivered daily.

· Communicate with customers regarding parts via email or phone.

· Procurement of production related supplies within company ERP software.

· Coordinate monthly inventory counts to accurately reflect current inventory of products throughout departments.

· Greet walk-ins and direct to appropriate personnel.

· Maintain inventory of office supplies; order new supplies as needed.

· Maintain office production files; implement an efficient system for other staff to access files and records.

· Collect and verify I-9 documents from new hires to ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements.

· Review company policies with new employees, providing necessary explanations and answering any questions.

· Assign timecards to new hires.

· Scan and submit I-9 documents and policy acknowledgment forms to HR for proper record-keeping.

· Monitor and collect any missing punches from employees to maintain accurate payroll records.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

· Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
