What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distributor Sales Manager - East position at Mike's Hard Lemonade?
The role is accountable for managing all aspect of MABI brands across an assigned multi-state geography. Responsibilities include full ownership of ABP, inventory management and retail execution across an existing network of Emerging Region wholesaler partners.
Accountabilities:
- Manage groups of distributors that don’t have Field Sales Managers in market; Large focus on more rural markets, with greater touch points. Service multiple state within a region.
- Point of contact on all programming for MABI, business resolution, communication and inventory management. Identify selling opportunities and create incentives to increase volume and distribution.
- Responsible for providing monthly business plan updates with distributors.
Key Metrics & Financial Targets:
- Growth is 50%: ABP volume ex-innovation, ABP volume innovation and deliver investment plan
- Execution is 40%: Deliver ABP PODs ex-innovation and Deliver ABP PODs innovation
- Share is 10%: Grow WC share of Seltzer, Grow Mike’s share of FMB, Grow Cayman share of FMB, and Grow MABI share of Flavor
Own:
- Own distributor relationship within your region
- Responsible for monthly business plan in addition to annual ABP
Influence:
- Influence sales team at the Distributor to grow distribution and volume for MABI products.
Veto:
- No veto power in DSM role; Focus is on collaborating with distributors and Field Sales Team

Skills Needed To Be Successful:
- 2-4 years of Sales experience, in alcohol or CPG preferred
- Strong analytic/math skills
- Ability to fact-based sell and establish rapport quickly with internal/external stakeholders
Compensation:
Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
