Summary
As an Auto Body Technician, you will be essential in restoring vehicles to their original condition through skilled auto body repair and maintenance. Reporting to the shop manager, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and expertise with hand and power tools to perform tasks such as sheet metal work, detailing, and auto restoration. Your premium skills in MIG welding and fabrication, along with relevant experience in automotive repair and customer service, will ensure high-quality workmanship. A valid driver's license is required for this role, as you will be handling various vehicles in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
- Utilize hand and power tools for vehicle maintenance and restoration tasks.
- Conduct thorough detailing of vehicles to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Collaborate with team members to assess damage and estimate repair costs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair progress and addressing client concerns.
