Junior Accounting Assistant:

This role will include on a variety of functions and responsibilities, including but not limited to what is listed below:
Permitting Department Assistant Responsibilities:
- Complete Feasibility Reports
- Order survey plans and truss engineering.
- Coordinate required Owner and Contractor signatures.
- Prepare and submit building and related permit packages.
- Track, disburse and respond to plan review comments for permit issuance.
- Record Notice of Commencement.
- Coordinate, request and complete any permit related fees.
- Coordinate any required changes or permit revisions.
- Create utility accounts for new projects.
- Prepare new construction start packages.
- Assist field staff with scheduling inspections & miscellaneous permit related items.
- Track inspections and coordinate accordingly to obtain Certificate of Occupancy.
- Organization & file storage of permit submittals, comments, re-submittal, and permit approvals.
- Maintain positive working relationships with local municipalities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret building plans is a plus.
- Previous permitting experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure all deadlines are achieved.
- Proficiency with MS Office and email.
- Valid Driver's license with ability to drive to job sites and county offices as needed.
