Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong background in food service or hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements efficiently.
- Take and process customer orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Aloha POS.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision while maintaining accurate records.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with food delivery and guest relations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest services.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
