Mikron experts will work closely with you to design an automated assembly system that meets your unique, industry-specific processes, whether for high-volume, medium-volume or lab-scale production. Mikron's standard systems are scalable and customizable to meet your current needs and adapt to future production requirements, without the need for costly and extensive future upgrades.
A qualified candidate will have several years experience in C# development and is agile to SCRUM methodologies. We would prefer any experience in windows presentation foundation (WPF), Blazor, Entity framework, and any in industrial programming (Ladder Logic).
- Responsible for the design and implementation of Mikron Corporation Denver (MDE) software systems to interact with custom automation
- Key participant in the assembly and debug phases as required to meet the contracted functionality of the customer’s system within budget and schedule constraints
- Improve / Develop software tools and processes utilized by the Software / Controls Group to increase productivity and effectiveness
- Responsible for teaching and developing colleagues by instructing them in the best practices for applying Mikron procedures, guidelines, and standard practices
- Support MDE goals, values, and operating principles
- RESTful API, EF Core, Blazor, Bootstrap, Industrial Programming (Ladder Logic)

Realize and test program modules specified in object-oriented languagePropose standard IT solutions that can be applied to majority of the customer projectsWrite the documentation and execute the maintenance of realized program modulesEnsure training and technical support of the company’s automation engineersUnderstand internal users’ and customers’ requests and help them specify their technical needsRealize technical FS & SDS (UML) specifications based upon actual processesEstimate and respect deadlines and costs of the assigned development projectsDemonstrate competency in Controls Engineering requirementsResponsible for the successful design of control systems to meet project budgets and schedules as set forth by the Project ManagersDemonstrate collaboration and the ability to effectively communicate technical requirements with customers, third-party equipment integrators, and parts suppliersDemonstrate proper application of Mikron standard materials and practicesSupport Validation team to create and test validation package per customer’s specificationsRequired Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in software engineering or automation3 to 5 years proven experience in software environment work experienceDeep knowledge of Object-oriented languages like C / C# languagesDeep knowledge of Visual Studio and Windows environmentGood knowledge in WPF and / or Ignition framework : an assetPractical and theoretical database knowledge. SQL Server : an assetGood knowledge of web technologies and concepts.
