To strengthen our sales team for our US market, we immediately select a technical sales manager for the state of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Long Island, NY.
The Shipping and Receiving Lead is responsible for supporting logistic activity, inbound and outbound shipments, material released to projects, logistic discrepancies, and Inventory management. Another key function of this role is to support company goals, values, and operating principles.
Essential Functions:
- Recognize the fluctuation of demands and work with the Shipping and Receiving Manager to make adjustments to resources
- Be the point of contact when the shipping and Receiving Manager is out of office
- Receive incoming parts from outside suppliers
- Count and verify delivery matches packing slip
- Compare packing slips to purchase orders
- Record entries into ERP system
- Load and unload equipment off trucks
- Inspect, accept, reject inbound shipments
- Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for product returns/repairs
- Label incoming parts and allocate them to their designated location
- Delivers product to appropriate personnel
- Package and ship UPS small package orders: domestic and international
- Coordinate large shipments with project teams and shipping companies: domestic and international
- Perform monthly cycle counts
- Perform return to stock duties
- Maintain accurate records
- Performs other duties as assigned
- End of year audited inventory
Skills:
- Detail orientated
- Ability to use a pallet jack
- Certified on a forklift
- Excellent organization
- Ability to make sound decisions, working independently and within a team structure
- Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment
Technical Requirements:
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Other Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid state driver license
- 5 years of experience in Shipping and Receiving
- Must be able to work off shift hours and work overtime
- Follow all safety policies, precautions, and procedures
- Follow department working instructions from manager
- Timely participation in meetings
- Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, frequently up to 50 pounds and constantly up to 20 pounds
- Ability to kneel/crouch, stand, pull, grasp, see and have depth perception, walk, lift, hear, reach, push, complete repetitive motions, and communicate
Working Conditions:
Possible exposure to noise, vibration, extreme temperatures, and work in a clean room environment. Hazards include possible exposure to mechanical and electrical equipment, chemical hazards, lasers/harsh light, and Sharps.
