We offer immigration legal services to the low-income Latino community who have been victims of violent crimes within the United States. Our primary focus is gender-based crime survivors.
We are looking for a City Staff Volunteer for our LA office!
Role Description
Immerse in the most relevant legal migration processes, contact and support victims of violent crimes. Reach out culturally diverse communities and enrich your social and cultural knowledge.
Next steps

Background Security Investigation A background security investigation could be required.
Volunteer mode Remote- with periodic in-person visits to PO Box
Level of commitment 2-3 days per week (Monday to Friday)
Reimbursement of transportation expenses.

- Hone your digital skills by creating and nurturing databases with precision and accuracy
- Elevate your impact by engaging in outreach activities that resonate with culturally diverse communities. Work collaboratively in both English and Spanish-speaking environments, broadening your communication skills and cultural competency.
- Manage incoming mail - Visit the PO Box regularly to collect client documents, forward them to the appropriate office, or update the digital records in Google Drive.
- Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish and English)
- Interest in enthusiastically working with immigrant clients Strong and proven work ethic.
