Access Control/Fire Watch Security Guard

Job Overview
The Access Control and Fire Watch position is a critical role responsible for maintaining safety and security. This position requires vigilant monitoring and quick response to any potential fire risks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong surveillance skills and a background in conflict management, with the ability to act decisively in emergency situations.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to monitor for fire hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel during incidents, providing necessary support and information.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass OSHA Physical, drug screen and background checks as required by company policies.
• Proven experience in surveillance or security roles; military or law enforcement background REQUIRED!. MINIMUM one year required.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of vigilance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and coordination.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• After school
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Security, law enforcement or Military service: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
