What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Assembler position at Milacron Plastics Technologies Group LLC?
Shift 1 (United States of America) Read, comprehend, and interpret wiring diagrams. Wire barrel and screw cooling trays, panels, motors, heater bands, and other subassemblies to machine. Set the department / area standards in housekeeping, attendance, and teamwork by example. Communicate any discrepancies or errors on prints, materials list etc. Work with minimal supervision. Recognize problems during assembly, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them. Produce quality work in a time frame that meets the expectation of the Team/Group Leads. Complete Lockout / Tag out training using all required items when performing Lockout. Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner. Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts. Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments. Recognize problems with electrical designs and parts, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them. Preferred qualifications: Recommend improvements for work area, products, and processes.
