Position Summary
The Welder is responsible for welding of fabricated parts to print and specifications. Prepare steel, cast iron, aluminum and stainless-steel material and parts for weld.

Position Summary
The Welder is responsible for welding of fabricated parts to print and specifications. Prepare steel, cast iron, aluminum and stainless-steel material and parts for weld.
Work You’ll Do
- Produce and maintain consistent quality of work, dress, and grind parts after welding.
- Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress, emergency situation, priority changes, or new assignments.
- Prepare steel parts for arc, gas or Tig/mig welding. Weld materials of limited thickness where finished weld is not stressed.
- Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner, practice good communications. Recommend improvements for area products and processes.
- Interact professionally with customers in the plant, job report correctly and in a timely manner.
In this position you will be a valued addition to our Fabrication and Paint Dept where you will support welding of fabricated parts for the plant.
Basic Qualifications
- High school education or relevant technical school training.
- 3 years’ experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Mig/ Tig Experience up to 5 years
- Being able to identify metric measuring welding systems and blueprints
- Being able to identify weld symbols
- A weld test will be required before they interview.

- Certificate of completion from technical school or welding certification.
