Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service with an excellent chair-side manner and telephone communication skills.
- Assist the doctor with all dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Take radiographs using standard dental radiographic equipment.
- Perform efficient and accurate procedures to maintain the doctor's schedule and patient flow, minimizing wait times.
- Clean and prepare treatment rooms, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment.
- Review patient charts prior to the doctor's arrival and accurately document patient data during exams and treatments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality through strict adherence to HIPAA compliance.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures of the organization.
- Understand and use dental terminology proficiently.
- Verify patient health history, including COVID screenings, and document appropriately in patient charts.
- Utilize advanced technology, including CEREC/3D Printing and Laser Dentistry, in our newly renovated ADEC-equipped office.
Qualifications:
- Prior Dental Assistant experience required.
- Dentrix experience preferred.
- Radiology certification required.
- Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
Compensation is based on your experience and skill set. For example, EFDA license holders are eligible for higher pay.
