What are the responsibilities and job description for the Videographer position at Milan Art?
We are looking for a skilled and cinematic videographer to join our dynamic team. Someone who truly loves to use the camera, who delights in capturing cinematic shots and telling stories through visual poetry. This individual will play a crucial role in capturing, creating, and facilitating the editing of video content that aligns with our brand and enhances our audience’s learning experience. We’re looking for an individual who eats, sleeps, and breathes content production. Someone who revels in the idea of creating the most unique and beautiful video content out there. Someone who isn’t afraid to question what’s been done and turn something on its head, but also knows when something just works and doesn’t need to be changed. You also must be adaptable, flexible, and collaborative. We want a team player. We want someone who understands the art of cinematography, who is experienced and confident in setting up the lights and all elements of production to get the most out of every shot. Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Set up each scene with multiple cameras, lights, mics, and all other elements needed to get the most out of each take
- Capture studio-quality footage of art classes, interviews, behind-the-scenes features, and more
- Collaborate with our team to develop engaging video content for our online courses, various YouTube channels, and marketing campaigns
- Help film live webinars
- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording for all shoots
- Assist in developing and executing video concepts and storyboards
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in video production technology
- Maintain all video equipment and manage the video library effectively
- Work closely with the marketing team to strategize and execute video content that aligns with promotional and branding efforts
- Work with the talent to pull the best performance out of each person by demonstrating a genuine curiosity in what is being filmed
Pay Rate depends on experience and the footage filmed.
