Education Leader
Milan Institute of Cosmetology - Vacaville, CA campus is seeking an Education Leader to mentor, teach, motivate and manage our salon floor instructors and students. If you are ready to share your knowledge and skills in the Cosmetology industry with our students, please apply immediately.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise floor instructors, assist students, faculty and clients
- Setting goals and ensuring goals are met in the student salon
- Resolve student issues that occur on the salon floor
- Cover instructor ratios, as needed Ensure students are engaged
- Participate in various administrative duties such as attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and counseling students.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Current Cosmetology license per State requirement
- Minimum of 2 years prior teaching experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years' supervisory experience, preferable in the field of salon management or education
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the Cosmetology
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
- Computer skills necessary
